Early march, EMDT has signed a second partnership agreement with FPD&R (France Pêche Durable & Responsable).
This agreement concerns 2 research topics:
- Modernise ships energy chain by integrating diesel-electric hybrid engines
- Explore energy recovery and untapped renewable energies to reduce the use of fossil fuels
The goal for EMDT and FPD&R is to find solutions to reduce the greenhouse gas’ emission of fishing boats
